The design is inspired by mathematical symbols and formulae by one of the weavers of the Indian State of Odisha Mr. Bhagabata Meher to showcase for the State Handloom Award. The Ganeet (mathematics) design is just a replica of the masterpiece created with new colour combinations as per the market demand by other weavers.
